Using Discount Database

For small countries with just a few own discounts it is important to expose the european advantages. But it is not always easy to find best results, if you are not familiar with the use of the Discount Database query form. So here is a short manual how to use the Discount Database. Feel free to copy or adjust it for your website.

More than 200′000 discounts is really a lot and it’s not easy to find the ones that fit for you and your needs. To make the search easier, there is a Discounted Database on euro26.org with all european discounts. With the query form you can search for discounts, that are interesting for you. For best results we recommend the following steps for your search.

  1. First of all, just enter the country and the city you are going to travel to. In smaller towns you might already find interesting discounts. In the same way, you can find out, which discounts there are in towns near by and if you might use means of travel discounting the fare for EURO<26 members.

  2. In larger cities with many discounts you can refine your search results by filling out the category of discount you are looking for. If you have no or just a few results, try categories that are similiar to the first one. The classification of Guest House, hostel, hotel accommodation and “other” may be blurred.

  3. If you already know what you are looking for, simply enter a keyword. If you are looking for shopping discounts in Austria for instance, enter »shopping«. The database will display all discounts related to that keyword. Again, if you are not satisfied with the results, just try similiar search terms (eg shop, fashion, clothes etc.)

  4. Always have a look on the national EURO<26-site as well. There you may find more detailed information about the current discounts and campaigns.
